Quilts Kingston 2008 will feature a display of hundreds of traditional and contemporary quilts and wall hangings by the Kingston Heirloom Quilters and the Limestone Quilters' Guild, an exhibit by Pamela Allen, a display of National and International award winning quilts including The Zodiac by Martha Brown. For $5 admission (children 12 years and under accompanied by an adult are admitted free), you will view:
- Demonstrations of quilting techniques
- 14 quilts entirely made by hand
- Care and repair of antique quilts (Bring your quilted treasures that need some TLC if you don't know what to do. We'll guide you on what to do.)
- Quilt appraisals by Rosalie Tennyson (Appointment only)
- A display by the Cataraqui Guild of Needle Arts
- A Computer Design Corner
- Quilters' Boutiques
- Quilts for sale
- Merchants' Mall
- Scissor & Rotary Cutter Sharpening (Saturday only)
- Door prizes

Two Shows For the Price of ONE?
At Queen's University Agnes Etherington Art Centre, quilts are now on display until Sunday August 10th. The exhibit is called, "Propitious Moments, Selections from the Heritage Quilt Collection". Admission : FREE during Quilts Kingston with “ticket” from our Admission Desk otherwise adult $4, senior $2.50, and students and children free. Thursdays or holiday Mondays are free. Hours are Tues to Fri 10am to 4:30pm; Sat, Sun, and holiday Mon 1 to 5pm.
